Underrated bak kut teh place. Not touristy area. Recommended their peppery based soup if you like sharp and pungent taste. Reasonable pricing

Their bak kut teh is enjoyable, with a well-spiced soup and fresh, tender, and flavorful pork. However, the pepper soup with fish and prawn was underwhelming. The fish was just okay and lacked freshness, while the prawns, served with the shell, were average at best. The pepper soup itself was bland and didn’t capture the bold flavors of Sandakan-style pepper bak kut teh, which typically enhances the seafood’s natural taste. It was a bit disappointing for their seafood Bak Kut Teh.

After more than 2 years (pandemic) without being able to dine here, I’m so glad that the quality is still maintained! The price, portions and taste are still the same as pre-pandemic! Probably the only bakuteh shop that has 3 flavors of soup to choose from : pepper, original and herbal! My favorite soup is still the original! Order their honey drink, its so good to balance off the meal.
